For those interested in choir only, there's no need to fill out audition form. Simply plan to come to the opening night at Grace Bible Church at 6:30pm. Cast and choir songs are in the process of being written so no music is available at this time.
PLEASE NOTE:
• Age ranges for characters are approximate.
• Song suggestions are for style and approximate range. Also, vocal auditions can be done with any song you're comfortable with.

PRIMARY CHARACTERS:
Amanda (Age 30-50) - Main character who is the choir leader and prominent person in the church but battles with her inner-self as indicated by the two connected (sub-conscience) characters, Mandy and Dee. This character will sing a solo and small ensemble.

Mandy (Age 30-50) - The positive alter-ego of Amanda. This character will sing in a small ensemble and required to hold (taught) part on their own.

• Song suggestion for audition preparation is Friend In Jesus by Cain
Dee (Age 30-50) - The negative alter-ego of Amanda. This character will sing in a small ensemble and required to hold (taught) part on their own.

SUPPORTING CHARACTERS:
Pastor William (Age 50-60) – Local Church Pastor who challenges the choir and leaders to produce an Easter program.

Georgiana (Age 50-60) – Pastor Williams’ wife. She is ill but attempts to hide it throughout the story.
• Audition pages 29-30.
Charlotte (Age 40-60) – She is a performer through and through. Overly dramatic, narcissistic, even snooty character.
• Audition pages 10 and 13.
Emily (Age 18-25). She is a pure, honest and humble character who is a student in college. She is a consultant on the accuracy of the Easter story. This character will sing a solo

Ben (Age 25-45). Assistant to Amanda. He is passionate and takes his role seriously.
• Audition pages 7-9.
Riley (Age 25-45). Riley is brought in to compose and conduct the musical. He has experience in writing many programs for other organizations

Paul (Age 50-70). Paul is a gruff east coast accent kind of character. He’s the construction supervisor and a little old school in his approach.

Greg (Age 30-40) – This is a man who is best described as a servant and willing to do whatever is needed for the church.

• Song suggestion for audition preparation is Firm Foundation by Cody Carnes.
Jeremy Johnson (Age 30-40) – Broadway actor coming back to his home town to “give back”. He’s arrogant and better than everyone else. His entourage (Ontor and Raj) do his talking for him because it’s beneath him to waste his voice with others.

Ontor (Age 30-40) – one half of the side-kicks of Jeremy Johnson
